Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the EA Intelligence Platform — the suite of web-based tools available at intelligent-ea.com, including the Capability Builder, BRM Builder, and Strategy Builder (collectively, the "Platform"). By purchasing a license key or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Platform.

When you purchase a tool, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use that tool for your own internal business purposes.

Your license key is tied to the email address you used at purchase. It is for your use only. You may not:

• Share, resell, or transfer your license key to another person or organization
• Use one license key across multiple users or seats
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform to build a competing product or service

Each tool (Capability Builder, BRM Builder, Strategy Builder) requires its own license. A bundle purchase covers all three under a single transaction but still delivers individual keys — one per tool.

The Platform generates enterprise architecture content by retrieving and synthesizing publicly available information about the company you specify — such as SEC filings, earnings transcripts, job postings, and company websites. We do not ask for or store confidential or proprietary business data.

We store the following to operate the service:

• Your email address (used for license key delivery and account recovery)
• Your purchase transaction record
• The generated content associated with your account (capability models, BRM outputs, strategy documents) — stored in your account and accessible only to you

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to process your payment (Stripe) or deliver transactional email (Resend). We do not use your generated content to train AI models.

The Platform uses AI to produce business capability models, business reference models, and IT strategy content. This content is a structured starting point derived from publicly available data — it is not a substitute for professional business, legal, or technology advice.

You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and refining any AI-generated output before using it to make business decisions. We make no guarantee that any generated content is complete, accurate, or appropriate for your specific situation.

AI outputs may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or content that does not apply to your organization. Use your judgment.

All purchases are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or renewal fees. Your license does not expire.

Because license keys are delivered digitally and immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds after a key has been delivered to your email address.

If you did not receive your key, or if your key does not work, contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

The Platform — including its code, design, prompts, methodology, and all underlying systems — is owned by intelligent-ea.com and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your license gives you the right to use the Platform, not to copy or redistribute it.

You own the content you produce. The capability models, business reference models, and strategy documents you generate using the Platform belong to you. You may use them internally, share them with stakeholders, or import them into other tools without restriction.

The Platform is provided "as is." We make no warranties — express or implied — about its fitness for any particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy of any AI-generated output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific tool involved. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business decisions made based on Platform outputs.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If you continue using the Platform after a change is posted, you accept the updated terms. We will not make changes that retroactively reduce the rights granted to you under a license you have already purchased.
